00-0007 - "Database dictionary not found" message during application startup

During the startup of a ZeeBORN module or gadget you see the error message starting with "Fatal Error: Database dictionary [...] not found. ..." and the application terminates after confirming this error.

Reasons and Solutions

In most cases this error is caused by accidentally deleting or renaming the database folder. But this error can be also caused by hard disk problems or network connectivity problems that will also lead to that the main database dictionary cannot be found and cannot be opened.

The following steps will help you to solve this problem:

1.Check with Windows Explorer if you can see the dictionary file mentioned in the error message. If yes, please ask your network administrator to check the access permissions for the database directory.

2.Check for potential network connectivity problems. Try to access any other file on the server or the computer where the ZeeBORN database is installed on. If you have similar problems without running a ZeeBORN module, please ask your administrator or any other support person for fixing the problem in the network connectivity.

3.If there is no network connectivity problem: Check the hard disk for errors or and fix them (or replace the hard disk).

4.If none of the above checks and tasks solve the problem you can a) restore the latest backup of the database or b) reinstall the system. Of course restoring a backup is the preferred way before starting from scratch with a clean install.
