bcc

bcc is used as an abbreviation for "blind carbon copy" in e-mail programs. This allows the sender of an e-mail to send an e-mail in copy to other recipients without letting the main recipient know that others got a copy of this e-mail as well.

A typical scenario for using the bcc instead of cc is the sending of a newsletter. This help you to hide the used e-mail addresses from the recipients who receive your newsletter via e-mail. They will be just able to see the e-mail address in the to and cc fields of the e-mail message.
