One of our recent releases contains the new module “Audit & Inspect”, which allows an interactive follow-up of any finding during a 3rd party inspection.

 

Historically this was done by i.a. Designated Persons Ashore using various readily available tools such as MS Excel or other programs for tracking the finding to a complete close-out. The difficulty here is simply the collection of all applicable corrective action that has been initiated for an individual finding, let it be an Observation or Non-Conformity, plus keeping track of all related communication, typically in a different program such as MS Outlook.

 

“Audit & Inspect” is combining all record keeping and communication collection plus allows the person in charge to assign due dates and responsibilities for corrective action, which is an essential quality aspect in today’s demanding shipping industry.
