Installation

In this section you find all information about the installation of the system

•in your company network

•on stand-alone machines (e.g. laptops)

•in side offices

•in remote sites (ships, agencies etc.)

In most cases it will be sufficient just to run the setup program, confirm the suggested settings and starting the install process.

The initial installation of the system will be done by our support team or at least with the guidance from our team. So you will need the explanations on the following pages usually for installing updates to the already installed system.

Command LIne Parameters

The installation program setup.exe supports the following command line parameters:

/auto

performs an automatic installation or update of the software

if this is the first installation, default folders will be used

/nocleanup

usually the setup programm will delete the "install" folder before preparing the new setup for further client setups/updates

with parameter /nocleanup, the deleting of the "install" folder will be skipped

some customers use the install folder for providing additional tools or resources for the client stations that would be deleted without using the /nocleanup parameter
