Stock Control > Catalogs > Managing Catalog Items

Catalog items (or articles) are managed in a per catalog way. You can find an article by opening the related catalog in the tree view or you may use the search function for finding an entry in the database if you are uncertain about the related catalog of an article.

Beside the typical functions adding, modifying and deleting articles in terms of maintaining the catalog database you have also features for the day-to-day work.

The quantity tracking for catalog articles happens only on purchase order level by comparing the number of ordered articles with the number of received articles. Further stock keeping management features are not available for catalog articles. If there is a link to a stock item, quantity changes will be transmitted to the stock item.
