Send RfQ again after receiving quotations from suppliers

If you send a Request for Quotation again, the system now will copy previously entered values (price, discount, remarks and quotation number) from the old quotation to the new created one. The old quotation will be set to inactive and will no longer appear in the tree.

The status of the quotation will be set back to “new”.

We don’t update the total prices and the offered quantity in the new quotation if the quantity of an item was changed. The original quotation data remain unchanged even if there is a change of quantities in the updated requests for quotation (e.g. if the previous RfQ version requested a quotation for 2 units, received an offer for 2 units but the RfQ will be updated to 3 units; the offer still shows the prices for 2 units; as originally offered by the supplier). It should always be clear that already existing data in supplier’s quotations may still show values related to a previous version of an RfQ that might have requested different quantities.
