Exchange Rate Updater

The Exchange Rate Updater collects and stores the current exchange rates from the website:

Only the exchange rates of the currencies, which are marked as "Active" in the system, are stored.

Start Exchange Rate Updater

There are two options to start the Exchange Rate Updater:

1)        Currency Converter

The currency converter can be found in the lower part of the ZeeBORN system.

Here there is the button "Update Exchange Rates". It is necessary to have the relevant user right to use this button.

By clicking on the button will update the exchange rates. The previous exchange rates are written into the history and remain in the system, so that the exchange rate, which is valid at any given time, can always be determined.

2)        Configuration

If you have the appropriate user right, you can also start the update via the configuration.

To do this, select Global-> Currencies and switch to the TAB „Exchange Rates“.

There you can find the "Get Online Updates" button.

Click on the "Get Updates" button to start the update process.

Exceptions

It may be necessary to exclude certain currency pairings from the update routine (for example, if a fixed exchange rate has been agreed with the bank).

To do this, you have to customize in the system which pairings should not be updated.

After clicking on the button "Update Exclusions" the form opens:

The exceptions can be managed here.
