We implemented a new button “Exceptional Defect Report”.
This functionality is only available for critical components. To use this functionality, it is necessary to hit check box “Create SDR for critical component in case of exceptional breakdown” in module "Incident Reports" under "Configuration". If a risk assessment is required after the ship defect, please hit check box “Assign new risk assessment to defect report”.
If you hit this button, a ship defect report for selected component will be created.
Please fill in details and enter spare parts consumption and actions (immediate, preventive, corrective) on the next Tabs.
After saving the ship defect report a risk assessment must be created (copy from template) – if the check box is marked in the configuration as described above.
The created ship defect report will be shown on the components HTML overview.
With click on the link you can see the defect report details, containing the assigned risk assessment (1) and the spare parts consumption (2):
The Ship Defect Report is than available in the open folder of the module "Incident Reports".
